POLKA DOTS

I love weekday offs. And fortunately for me both my best friends are in the business industry so I get to have their company. Today we decided to hit the beach and spent the entire day at Tanjong Beach Club. Such a chill place to be in on a tuesday afternoon. I love! :)

 

Yummy beach snacks. Mango Margarita, Crab Dips, Truffle Fries, TBC Salad and Prawn Spaghetti. Yes for us three only. Haha.

Polka dots on polka dots, I didn't think it would work out but it surprisingly did! I guess print on print is not an issue anymore. The same as color blocking used to be baduy but very fashionable now. And as if I have not enough dots on me, I decided to accessorize my outfit with this very cool Eton John shades from Eleventh. Yes the three of us have matching shades, lol. Get yours now! :)

Little Lady

Here's what I wore last Saturday. One of my favorite trend this season is Lace. Love it, adore it, wish I could buy every thing made out of it! In fact, I can imagine my future wedding gown to designed with lace. There is just something very romantic and lady like about it :)

It's hard to decide what to wear with the bipolar weather. Do you dress up for a rainy day / sunny? Oh the dilemma! "The trick is to find pieces in your wardrobe that suit the hot humid sun and dark pouring rain" - Kryz Uy. 

Here's my take on it. You can never ever go wrong with a Little White Dress. It is suitable for any kind of weather, any time, anywhere, any occasion. It is the most versatile piece of clothing a girl could have. Here, I styled it with my flower gold necklace for that sophisticated look, my wedge shouts summer and my scarf perfect for the light drizzle that day. This days I make sure I have a cardigan in my bag just in case it starts pouring. What about you, how would you dress up for this kind of weather?  

HARRY POTTER EXHIBITION

Happy Monday to my favorite bunch of people in this whole wide wooooooooooooooooorld!! :D 

I KNOW I have not been the most dedicated blogger lately, I really do blame my work and its ever changing schedule! Tough life being a nurse, it can get so exhausting at times that on my off days / free time I don't want anything to do but sleep! Gone is my social life, I've turned into a freaking hermit!! Bwaaaaaaaaa!!!

Okay moving on, art Saturday I finally visited the Harry Potter Exhibition with my littlest brother.

Got our tickets! But first brunch. Whenever I'm at Marina Bay Sands you'd probably see me killing time at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Beanstro. The place is just beside the "Waterfall" and "River"; never fails to relax me :)

a plate filled with minced beef, and he said he's done. If I had known he only wants the cheese, I'd have gotten him mozzarella sticks instead! Cheeper.

Finally on to the exhibition: 

     
First thing that greets you. Remember it from the Chambers of Secret? Immediately I got all excited upon seeing it.
    
Pricey souvenirs. I spent $30 on five chocolates! Insane!   

"Bertie Bott's every flavored beans. They mean every flavor" Couldn't leave the place without it. And surprisingly they really mean every flavor! It was fun eating the beans with my brothers and guessing the flavor. I want to go back again and get some more! If anyone is dropping by the museum do let me know ;)

The place wag magical as expected too bad no pictures and filming was allowed in the museum. I wish they allowed you take a few photographs especially at the games area, and on Hagrid gigantic chair at least :(

Harry Potter The Exhibition until 30th September 2012! Don't miss it guys! You won't regret it ☺

HOT TOMATO

This will be a food blog, so I will not recommend you to continue if you're hungry :P

Last night was a very casual night with an old friend. I'm not really having the best time of my life right now, with all the stress at work and other personal problems I'm in need of a vacation! But alas, my next leave is not until November :( 

So you gotta do with what you already have. Grab a friend and escape to shopping paradise and enjoy good food! And for that few hours I was in the world far away from my problems.

Tried this little place at 313 Somerset called HOT TOMATO. Very casual place and affordable food. 

APPETIZERS:
Baked Escargots & Spicy Chicken Wings, Mushroom Soup with a slice of Garlic Bread.

  

MAIN DISH:
Norwegian Salmon with Mango Salsa , Chicken Teryaki with Steak and Sausage served with Spaghetti

 

Definitely going back to this place again. Visit them and give their food a try.

JULY

Hey it's July! Well time is passing real quick this year, don't you think so?

To end the month of June I head over to the newly opened and much talk about Gardens By The Bay for Corrine May's concert. To be honest I really didn't know who Corrine May was, I was more excited to visit the Garden to see what all the hype was about. I wasn't disappointed, the garden was beautiful and Corrine May made the whole experience even better! Not exaggerating, I felt like I was in Heaven that night.

   

Didn't even try to squeeze with the crowd. My friends and I took a spot on top of a hill and enjoyed the music with some good drink. It couldn't get better than that. Sorry for the bad quality pictures, my DSLR is taking a vacation with my mom in the Philippines. The reason for the lack of posts lately.


Angel in Disguise was one of my favorite song, imagine my surprise when I found out she was actually the one who sang it.
